The Mighty Tigers ring by Justine Austen

'The Mighty Tigers' ring in sterling silver by Justine Austen
(rings can be made to order in other team colours)
$396
In-store or online

Justine Austen graduated from Gold & Silversmithing with honours from Monash University in 1998 and attained a fellowship from the gemmological Association of Australia in 2004. Working as a contemporary jeweller and miniature sculpture artist Justine creates exhibition pieces, commissions and a number of limited production ranges sold through various galleries nationally. Balancing somewhere between fine art and kitsch Justine’s creations seem quirky, play-full, absurd and offbeat. The transformation of somewhat random objects and materials into new works dictates the technique, depending on the piece and the envisioned outcome. Her style is graphic, using a simple and strong visual, icongraphic language that she has developed drawing on historical and modern elements and references.

Triangle Cluster cufflinks by Nadine Treister

Triangle Cluster cufflinks in sterling silver and enamel by Nadine Treister
$220
Available in-store or online

Nadine Treister draws from her background as an interior designer to create works that investigate geometric form, line and pattern. Through her use of both non-traditional materials and interplay of colour, Nadine seeks to create jewellery that is unique and bold but maintains a sense of delicacy and attention to detail. Often there is a multiplicity to the wearability of teh final piece itself, which in turn brings about the playful aspect in her practice.
