God, the original designer and creator, has surrounded us with a world filled with natural beauty and wonder. I have been an artist and creator from an early age. I draw inspiration from all that surrounds me: people, the ocean and different cultures. Two central motifs of my creative process and designs are nature and love.  I currently focus on combining materials and techniques, utilizing both precious and non-precious materials, allowing for nature to both be represented and reshaped into wearable works of art. My core belief, however, is that love imprints itself on all creation, without which, there would be no meaning.

Cufflinks No. 3 by Youssef Tayeb

Cufflinks No. 3 by Youssef Tayeb - 3D printed bronze plated stainless steel in a limited edition of 10.
$250
Available in-store or online

Melbourne based and Melbourne designed, Side Project One is a jewellery collection created by myself, Youssef Tayeb. As a freelance Industrial Designer by trade, these unique pieces draw on my expertise in the field of rapid product prototyping.

Coupling digital modelling with additive manufacturing processes (3d printing) allowed me to produce intricate, geometrically driven forms, adapted to a wearable medium.

Produced in limited edition runs and hand finished in a tiny studio, these pieces explore my relationship with design and craft, intent and outcome, the hand and the machine.

Bunny III by Zachary Frankel & Peter McLisky

Bunny III pendant in sterling silver plate by Zachary Frankel & Peter McLisky
$120
In-store or online

My jewellery is largely sculptural, I like things with form and texture. I also like to put a little bit of humour into the objects, I prefer jewellery that doesn't take itself too seriously. I mainly work with silver because of its lustre and the way silver changes with age and the wearer. I guess I am intrigued by the way that jewellery interacts with the owner/wearer after it has left my hands, that it takes on another life and could become anything from an heirloom, to discarded.

Hannah Chambers is an emerging Melburnian jeweller.

With a passion for all things hidden secretive and unfound, she aims to create an intimacy between her objects and the wearer.

Being able to create objects that can be worn and that become a tangible part of someone's life is very important to her. It expresses a closeness and familiarity that other art forms do not.

Drawing on influences from all sorts of times, places and cultures, she loves jewellery that has a story to tell.
